The Extech 48VFL13 Temperature PID controller incorporates Fuzzy Logic improved PID and a Soft-Start feature to protect heaters from cold starts. PID with Fuzzy Logic can handle even the most demanding applications, reducing overshoot, undesirable process variations, and drift. The Soft Start function is appropriate for operations used in the Thermo-Plastics industry, where careful, precise, and slow heating of the product is required. This unit accepts thermocouple and RTD inputs and provides a single-stage Ramp and Soak program with Ramp-to-Set point Limit, which can be paired with the Soft Start feature for sensitive process requirements. The 48VFL13 includes mounting bracket hardware and screw terminals for convenient wiring. Also available with a relay output (48VFL 11).
